Create an issue as someone else
The company I'm working for has a call center handling support, and they want to start using zendesk for the call center guys to send us bugs/requests. I want to convince them to use tender, though =)
The only show stopper for that, though, is that they need the support users to post stuff "as someone else", so they can handle incoming calls and place them on our queue.
Is this something that is planned?

Yes. Currently as a support user, you can forward an email from
someone and it'll appear as if they opened it.

Yeah, I know about the email forwarding. But this isn't handled by
email, but by operators on a call center, who would be logging phone
calls into tender, so we'd need something on the UI to set the "From".

It's definitely planned for "real soon now".

Thanks,

Hey Nick. In the create a new discussion form you can add a user as a watcher right in the form if you are a support user on tender and file it on their behalf.

If you don't see that form on your create a discussion page, then you are running the old version of the Tender form UI, which is in your site settings, appearance settings area of your Tender.
