Please make result of edits available immediately
One of the most annoying aspects of Tender is that many edits do not show up immediately. I select a bunch of messages in the list view, apply a change (say, Resolve) then the list view returns to the screen with those very same topics still in the list. Some undefined time later, the contents of the list starts to reflect the edits, but this makes it very difficult to know what I am doing at any point in time. Someone mentioned once that this has to do with indexing not being done in real time, but come on, would you accept this kind of behavior any place else?

The current system keeps the Tender UI really fast. The other
alternatives put a lot of load on the server, or halt your access to
Tender while it's working. We're working on a way to provide more
information to users so they can see the progress while these jobs are
being run.

Sorry to be testy about this one, but this problem is of your making. It is your design about how this is implemented in the backend that makes the update slow, not the update itself. Probably almost everyone who uses Tender has implemented something like this at least once, and I can tell you that my user would NEVER accept this behavior. I understand that you all made some design decisions early on that have forced this behavior on you, but this is a perfectly solvable problem with technology that has been around for decades now.
You all like to brag on your web site about how bright and talented everyone there is -- surely you do not need your customers to tell you how to do this.
