Here is an annoying flow with Tender with respect to SSO, written from the perspective of a user [but it is similarly annoying for supporters]

  1. User starts a discussion
  2. We reply, which generates email notification of our response to user, clicks on link at bottom of email
  3. User gets bounced to our "/login" page - logs in. User is now in our app.
  4. User now needs to navigate all the way back into support, find the discussion, and then reply - or, find the email and then click the link again.

It would idea that where we specify Login URL in multipass sign on we could make the url we enter into preferences something like
https://www.strongspace.com/login?return_to={referring_url} This way, developers who want to bounce their users back to where they last were can easily put this code in their URL template and it will "just work"

Alternatively, perhaps extend the anon token code to work with non-anon users - so that the link at the bottom of the email will have a token that will authenticate the user.

Hey, I totally meant to answer this in the morning. I can just start sending a ?to parameter automatically for all custom login/logout urls.
