-----Original Message----- Cruft

We get a lot of posts that have the same email cruft at the bottom. Based on the above thread, it seems like it’s a result of how Outlook formats replies or forwards. Here’s an example from the end of an email we received from a user:

I understand the desire to be conservative when it comes to stripping content, but it seems like we have plenty to work with here. For example, if you strip only when the last 5 non-whitespace lines start with "-----Original Message-----", "From:", "Sent:", etc., then I’d be pretty shocked if there were ever a false negative.
It’s not a big deal thing issue, but we do get quite a lot of emails with this exact same cruft.

Thanks for the report. We feel like silently dropping content is a big deal, whereas a little cruft that Outlook sends is just a little annoying. This is on the list to correct at some point.
