Hi Tender Support!

I would really like to be able to forward a discussion or cc: a third party directly from Tender.

For example, if I want to bring a discussion to someone's attention, I copy/paste the discussion in an email, or I find the discussion in my inbox (because I am subscribed to the discussions) and forward it to the appropriate party.

It would be nice to be able to contact outside parties via Tender! If this feature already exists, please let me know.

Thank you!

Hey Tina, you can add a user to a discussion, they will be updated and have access to the discussion from that point onward.

If you look in the top right of the web ui on a discussion, there is a watchers box.

From email you can use a notify tag at the end of your email body. So by adding...

    # notify [email blocked]

That person is not notified of the discussion, or in better terms, added to the watchers list.

    # notify EMAILADDRESS (sets up the given user to be notified of updates to this discussion.

If a discussion does not exist for a user yet, and you want to create one on their behalf, the new discussion form has an option to create a discussion and account for this.

If you have any further questions or need help with any of this, please feel free to let me know.
