Re-order articles in a category.
Just as you can re-order your categories in the knowledge base, I should be able to re-order my articles in a category to make sure that they come in a sane order.

At first I didn't think I liked this, but after thinking about it for a while I think we'll figure out a way to do this as it's something I'd like to do for help.tenderapp.com's FAQs.

We would love to be able to order our questions in each FAQ category, right now it seems to get done randomly. Do you have a timeline for this potential change request?

We would really love to be able to reorder the articles within a section of the knowledge base as well. It helps to be able to put the information in order as the user would encounter the question.

How are the articles ordered? In which order should I creat/publish them to get the order I want right and not have to change it? Thanks for answering asap

They're ordered by permalink, alphabetically. You could order them yourself by adding numerical prefixes until the sorting interface is done...

Well, this discussion is ancient and resolved for some reason. We quietly implemented this last week. Though, it didn't get as much fanfare as the downtime. If you did use permalinks to order your FAQs, you can change it, while keeping a redirecting FAQ clone with the old permalink.
