As the subject says really... what do you think?

We don't want to override a user's expected browser behavior. It's also very easy to open links in a new window if that's your intention using the cmd/ctrl key.

I don't really need telling how to open things in a new window myself, thanks.

Sorry - didn't mean for that to come across so rude! :)

No harm. :) I was merely elaborating on why we probably won't include a feature like this. It wasn't to be condescending.

No problem - it is easy enough to open a new window. In fact, I'd imagine most people would want a new tab and any sort of target _blank isn't going to help there anyway so in hindsight this was a mostly pointless request.

Although, perhaps, purely from a cosmetic point of view, you could add a small gsub("Url", "URL") so URL is capitalised? :p
