Private attachments in public discussions
Below is a request from one of our users:
tender request: rather than having to make an entire question/problem/suggestion private, it would be really nice if one could attach private attachments to an issue. that way one could protect sensitive data, while still making the community aware of the general issue.
Discussions are closed to public comments.

Thanks for the suggestion.
In this case I'd suggest you "split" the user's comment to a new discussion, then edit the comment in the original discussion to remove private data.
