Search Checkboxes are Confusing
Hi,
I searched elsewhere for this, but haven't found a reference yet.
The checkboxes under search are confusing. From what I gather, when you go to the results screen, it shows results as if I had checked New/Open/Ticketed/Resolved, but the checkboxes are all unchecked. I would suggest in that case you check all the checkboxes once you get to the results screen and make it the default (or perhaps uncheck and don't automatically search resolved?) That way a user would be able to connect those checkboxes to the current search.
Apologies, another suggestion. Make resolved items in the list look different. Perhaps a different background/icon/etc. Often times if I search on an issue, if I see something has been resolved, I'll check that one first, since that might have the answer. As far as I can tell, I don't see any differentiating visual clues for resolved items (unless that's a CSS thing I can tweak).
Also, another vote for having a combined results screen of discussions and FAQs. I'm always searching for something, finding no results, and then having to switch to discussions and retype my query. Highly annoying.
Thanks,
Ingo
