Should internal replies to staff only, re-open the discussion?
I'm sure this has been addressed; curious to see the final stance.

They shouldn't. We have a ticket open for that, but it's not exactly on top of the list right now.

That's fine as long as it's in the queue. I'll check back.
Question 2 related to this. If a staff member posts a reply via email and they forget to make the post Private, it would be nice as an admin to be able to set the post to Private. But then again, the recipient has already received the message... nevermind =S

You can still set the post as private after a message has been sent. I'm not sure I fully follow the scenario you are presenting though.

If a user posts a discussion and someone replies internally with a question and doesn't check the box for "Only show this comment to our staff", is there anyway to revert this to Only show the comment to our staff? But if it's already sent it's too late..

Ah, yeah. It's already been sent out, you can delete the comment so it's not in the UI anymore, but once the comment is posted the email is sent out, so the user will have it in their inbox.
