Change "3 days ago" to the actual date & time

I am loving your product but it doesn't really help to see that a discussion was started "3 days ago", "5 days ago", etc. It would be much more helpful to see the date & time displayed for when the discussion was started, since I always need to count back on the calendar to see what day you're really referring to.

Here's a good example why this should be changed - I was looking for discussions from "3 days ago" since the date for them was Nov. 26. But the way your system calculates "days" is based on 24 hour increments, so what I really needed to be looking for was discussions from "2 days ago", since that particular discussion was started on the afternoon of Nov. 26, hence, not 3 full 24 hour increments from right now.

Thank you for taking this into consideration - this change would save a little time trying to figure out the actual date and also avoid confusion for when discussions were started.

  1. Hi Jane,

For tracking purposes, clicking through to the actual discussion will always display the timestamp for the issue's created time. We will definitely take your request under consideration as we continue to work on refinements to the admin pages.

    Thanks!
    Tim

  3. Don't kill me but I think I want to retract this recommendation. lol

I've gotten used to the way it is now, and I actually like it better than if the actual dates were displayed. The way you have it now makes more sense for daily/hourly use, rather than the kindof one-time "report" I was looking for the other day. You live you learn.

    thanks!

  4. Jane,

We'll take your counter-recommendation under consideration too! :) Thanks for the feedback.
