add watcher email autocomplete
It would be really really handy^ if the "Add watchers..." Email field attempted to autocomplete based on existing Users' emails. Or even better - if it also attempted to autocomplete based on their names.
^ For me at least - I use my private Tender internally only, so am always adding from the same pool of ~50 people.
Thanks!

Yeah, that WOULD be great. I'd like this, too. :)

Hey, I see this is active on the Create Discussion page (thanks!), but it's not yet active for the watchers list on tickets: http://cl.ly/EPcI
Cheers,
Tim

Tim,
The autocomplete should be working in the add a watcher box. Can you possibly send a screencast of what you are seeing?

Tim,
It was working for me logged in as you in firefox. Can you try a different browser to see if it is related to that?

Hi Amanda,
I've tested it in the following browsers:
OS X Lion:
Chrome 17.0.936
Safari 5.1.3
Firefox 3.6.27 (I need the older version for my automated integration
testing, so I tested a recent Firefox on Windows)
Win XP:
Firefox 8.0.1
Internet Explorer 7.0.5730
I thought it might be my work network, so I tethered out to my mobile
provider & also tunnelled through to a server in the US. No dice all
around, I'm afraid. Let me know if there's something else I can test.
Cheers,
Tim

Tim,
Sorry about the delay in responding. What's happening here is that Tender is using two sets of criteria in those two different places to input addresses. In the add watcher box within an existing discussion it's matching only on email addresses you've previously input into that field. In the add watches box within the create a new discussion page it's trying to match against a list of existing users, whether you've entered them before or not. I've made a ticket for us to make that a consistent process. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for following up! I'll keep a watch for it.
Thanks,
