Need more opportunities to split a discussion
Discussions can be split at any user reply, but not at staff
replies or at private comments to staff. It would be really useful
to have more options, making it easy to move an internal discussion
that develops using private comments into a new and private
discussion.
Discussions are closed to public comments.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Thanks for the feedback David. We haven't had a request quite like that before, but it's something we'll definitely discuss during future planning.
