Delete user
This has been suggested several times before, with the only suggestions being to set a user to disabled or to ask admins to delete users. I don't really see either as answering the problem.
Could we please have proper delete user functionality? Creating a bunch of test users and having them lingering under disabled users forever is just highly annoying when you know that you'll never need that account again. I can understand that a user account could be linked to various posts and you want to discourage deleting an account as it could be referred elsewhere, but there should be some way of deleting a user without having to ask someone.
Alternatively the "delete" could just set the user to hidden in the database - making it invisible/inaccessible, removing the email address so a new tender account account can be created on the site, but leaving all the data incase it is an accidental deletion (and could be restored by Tender staff).

Alex,
There is a workaround for disabled users preventing signup. If a disabled user is preventing a new user from signing up because of email address conflicts, support staff can re-enable the user in question and have that user reset the password.
There are still no short term plans to allow deletion of users, but the UI is designed to keep uninteresting and pointless discussions out of your view, which should mitigate the visibility of these dead users.
Thanks and regards,
