Redirect on claiming discussions is REALLY problematic

When a user submits a discussion that requires me to click the "Claim" button (I never have fully understood why this shows up on some, but not others. Looks like it's tied to anonymous users?) it redirects me back to the list of all discussions. This is, to put it bluntly, terrible. Why on earth would I want to go to that list when I clearly just clicked an action on that item?

  1. Don't redirect me to the discussion list. Redirect me back to the discussion that I just claimed.
  2. Better yet, don't redirect me at all. Click "Claim" and the discussion morphs via AJAX/JavaScript into my claimed discussion.

Unclaimed discussions appear when people don't bother to log in, but use their email address on the anonymous form. It prevents people from falsely creating discussions as someone else. If it happens a lot, we suggest using SSO to log users in before they hit your Tender.

Good idea on the redirect thing. I'll make a ticket for our next round of UI improvements.
