Your site's owner can cancel at any time from the Plans & Billing page. Please cancel there rather than asking your bank for a chargeback: if anything's wrong, write to billing@tenderapp.com and we'll sort it out. See our Terms of Service for the details of cancelling.
Cancelling
- In the dashboard, open Account & Settings and choose Plans & Billing (or go to
https://yoursite.tenderapp.com/billing). - In the Summary box, click cancel your account.
- Read the warning, then click Yes, please cancel my Tender account. (or Never mind. to keep it).
Cancelling stops your subscription. Your site goes offline: old discussions are no longer visible, and replies sent by email to existing discussions are not received. This can't be undone.
Archiving instead
If you're moving to another help desk but want to keep your history, archive your site instead of cancelling it. In the same window, under Don't Cancel - Archive!, click Please archive my site. Your site moves to the archive plan (the window shows its price) and becomes read-only:
- You and your staff can still log in, and view and search old discussions and your knowledge base.
- No new discussions can be started.
Tender then opens the Archived Site page. Fill in all of its fields:
- Friendly archive message: shown at the top of every page of your site. Say where people should go for support now.
- Email autoreply ('reply-to' email address, subject line and message body): the email sent to anyone who replies to an old discussion by email. Include the address of your new support site.
You can still cancel later.
Not a Tender customer?
Tender is a help desk for businesses. If you're trying to cancel a dating app subscription, you're in the wrong place: see Cancel my dating profile.
